Hello, We are in need of volunteers to help chaperone homecoming hall decorating!  Your main job is to just be there keeping an eye on things but also may be asked to help hold a ladder or assist with a task.  This is a super fun school wide event and chaperones are needed and appreciated.  

All parents are invited to attend our first general meeting of the year.

This meeting will inform you on all things homecoming, from volunteer opportunities to what to expect during spirit week. You will also receive an update from admin regarding the opening of the school year and more.

These meetings are always a good time to connect with other parents and guardians and we hope to see you there!

This is a great opportunity to see the school, hear from admin, go to each of your student’s classes (expect to spend about 5 mins per class for a quick overview), and at the end gather with your respective graduating class to get a quick rundown of how to stay informed and get involved. Mandatory dress rehearsal for graduation ceremony in the SQHS Gym.

A walk through of your old elementary school wearing your cap and gown. Seniors will drive themselves and carpooling is highly recommended. (Exact time is TBA, but will be morning)

Senior parent and business owner, Sara Clement, is hosting an event where people can shop for jewelry keepsakes for their graduating daughter or favorite teachers and then donating a portion of the proceeds to our class party! Come mingle with other parents, find some sweet keepsakes and raise some money!

Are you interested in joining the fun and Chaperoning the 2024 GLOW Dance? That’s right, back by popular demand, the SQHS Lemon Club, partnered with SQHS Rocketry/Aerospace Club, will be putting on THE GLOW DANCE!

The GLOW dance is a Super fun Dance that is usually smaller than our other dances. Students dress up in white and painted colorfully. We provide the Glow lights, and the fun begins! This Dance is a HUGE fundraiser that helps our clubs and students REALLY enjoy having this awesome winter dance!

WHY- FOR FUN!! Raise money for Lemon Club Fundraisers -- Ronald McDonald House / Cancer Research. Raise money for Rocketry/Aerospace rocket parts & Competitions.

WHEN – SATURDAY January 13th , 8-10 pm Arrive 745, done by 1015 ish

WHERE – SQHS Commons

We need at least 10-12 Parent volunteers: some will be ticket takers; some will be bag checkers, and some will be sitting/standing and simply talking/ hanging with students at the dance!
